In my opinion...

I think the fight between Obama and Hillary cant be worse for both of them. I think that all they are doing is giving John McCain a large time advantage to point and laugh at them and to campaign for the November elections. If those two dont fix things, they will not have any time to campaign, and i believe that another Republican could take us back to the 1930s depression

well good luck Obama anyways!!!

Not bad of a break so far

The trip to Nebraska was great. I learned a lot of new stuff, and did so much as well. As somebody told me, now I can cross those from the things to do before I die...

I cant put any pictures yet, as I have to download them, but once I do they'll be there

midterms

This time of the year, which BTW sucks. A lot of exams and no time to study. I hope I will have time to rest during the break

When they say the winter in Iowa is harsh they don't lie

Specially the fact that we are in early March and we still have a bunch of snow in the ground and flurries going up and down. Don't take me bad, winter rocks, but by this time it wouldn't hurt to give it a rest and let spring with it's 50s and 60s come, y'know?? :)

High this week in Ames: 52.
High last March 13 in Ames: 76 (Acording to Weather Underground history data)

Venezuelan Reunion

On saturday I went to a venezuelan party (or reunion as you want to call it)... it was fun, no doubt... being with people from your own country and doing things that you "traditionally" do (like drinking (Cacique) rum and coke, beer, play dominoes and talk)... it was definitelly a great time...

Spring

Well, its that time of the year (again for those who have lived here before), snow is long gone with the days when the temps dipped deep below zero, and now you start seeing more green all around you and feeling many 70's and a few 80's around, a great time to be outdoors... anyways, enjoy some pics

The UofI Quad... now snowless

Look carefully, you may find a bird on this pic... yeah, they are back

what a NICE day

Today is (so far and thanks God) a really nice day. It is not freezing cold or scorching hot either. 75 degrees put up a nice and sunny afternoon, and a chance for me to try some University of Illinois quad tanning sessions.

Ok, so I tried the tanning thing for short time. I went for about 20 minutes after I arrived to the Transit Plaza bus stop. I could not hold my self of throwing myself in the grass after I saw so many people doing it.

I liked doing so, and so I am considering coming back in a while to the Quad to spend a longer while there just laying in the sun, listening to music, basically in my own world, after i type a while my factory farming paper.

Thanks God for days like this!!

Here are some pictures. Sorry, I shot them with my T-Mobile Sidekick's camera which is pretty bad

Nop, I don't know him... he was just randomly there when I took the shot

Weather Today: Mostly sunny, with a high of 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Great day to tan
